A Bit About Me:
“I love what you’ve done with the house Ruth”
“You have such an eye.”
For as long as I can remember, I’ve noticed the way things look, the feelings that certain looks can evoke or how I feel when I’m in an environment that looks a particular way. Creating has been a part of my life - always. There were craft projects as a child and trips to museums in New York City. Drawing classes at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C in Junior High. I started college with a major in commercial art. Now I find myself back doing what seems to come naturally to me. Creating, designing things, making things look good in print, on the web or in a home.
Years ago, my husband and I and our two children spent 8 months living in South Africa. My creative juices went wild in that amazing new place. I realized while there just how much art and being creative is a part of my being. When we returned to the states, I decided to get the education and knowledge I needed to expand my creativity. I went back to school and finished a program at the University of California, Santa Barbara in Graphic and Web design. Now I can use my natural sense, my “eye”, and education to take my creativity in wonderful and exciting directions.

I currently live in Santa Ynez, California with my husband, one of our 3 children still at home, a goat, two dogs, two cats, and seven hens! My creativity thrives living in the country. I have a studio in our barn where I create using a variety of mediums; print, computer, jewelry, fabric, ceramics, wood, metal, photography.

Hopefully I can help you with what you want to realize. I love helping others see their creative ideas come to life. Sometimes it just takes another set of eyes, a good cup of coffee and some brainstorming!
Let's get together and see what we can create!
